Liz my memories go back to when my husband Jim was alive and did business with your dad when we built houses in the late 1980’s. He had a ton of well deserved respect for him as all who knew him well do. 🙏 💔

Jack was quintessential Stafford. The person who would help you when you needed it, the kind of neighbor you would wish for, the friend everyone should have the pleasure of knowing. At Stafford Little League, we had been blessed to have him as that friend for many years. As a player, coach, dad fan, grandfather fan and always supporter, he silently became one of our biggest benefactors. He was passionate about all youth sports in town. His generosity spread to other rec sports leagues through the Boys and Girls Club. He was a man of the people and loved his hometown of Stafford. He believed sports to be healthy activity for the kids who may one day grow into leaders in our community. His support was and still is - an investment in the town’s future. A dear friend we will miss deeply, Jack gave us the idea to offer used baseball and softball gear to families who may need it, with a second hand, free store at Kealy Field. On opening day we introduced “Jack’s Place” with him in attendance. Our way of saying thank you to our friend and supporter who, in turn, showed us the way to give back when we could. He will be remembered always at Kealy.
On behalf of Stafford Little League Board of Directors, our deep condolences to the Mocko, Carreira and Utermarck families.
Jim Tantillo, President
Stafford Little League

Jackie and I knew one another since childhood. In adulthood, he delivered propane to me. We enjoyed many pleasant conversations on my porch throughout the years. I know he'll be missed by me and his other customers around the area as well as his many friends everywhere. My heart goes out to Barbara, the kids and all the grandkids who will miss him ever so dearly. May your memories hold him close to your heart. ❤️
