I just learned about John's death today and am so sorry to hear it. I was literally just telling a story about him yesterday, though I hadn't seen him in years. I was telling some friends about an old buddy from high school: a great athlete, big personality, who was inspiring both as a big, tough football and lacrosse player and later as a yoga teacher. I remember him with a big smile. The type of guy who was truly on your team and brought joy and energy to those around him. My condolences.

John, you will be missed dearly by so many who were lucky enough to know you. Rest in peace. John had a special ability to light up a room and befriend anyone with his cheerful sense of humor.  He had an infectious positive energy and zeal for life. On the football and lacrosse fields he was a fierce competitor and loyal teammate. It pains me how he struggled and wandered later in life - nobody, especially a guy with his abilities and qualities, deserves such suffering. I’ll cherish many fond memories with him and wish his family and loved ones peace through this incredibly difficult time.

John - I hope wherever you are, you’re at peace. I won’t ever forget our friendship and the memories we made.

My condolences go out to Elena, Daniel and Connie. What you're feeling is a feeling Noone can help you through. Unfortunately, I understand this emotion more than most. If there's anything I can do for you guys, I'm a call away.
