I met JP almost a decade ago, soon after starting at NWP.  He is and was one of my favorite people at NWP, and I don't say that lightly, as I love many people here.  He was always kind, present, engaging, and made every single person who he talked to feel super special.  My deepest condolences to his family.   JP's light always shone so bright and he will always be remembered.
JP brought so much light and laughter into our workplace, and his joyful spirit made even the hardest days feel lighter. He will be remembered not only for his work, but for the warmth, humor, and kindness he shared so freely. My heartfelt condolences to his family and all who loved him.

My deepest condolences to JP's family.

I want everyone to know what a huge impact he had on us at Northwest Permanente. He had a way of making everyone feel valued and appreciated - and it was so genuine.  He encouraged me, challenged me to get involved, and invested in me. In a crowded room I would gravitate towards JP (I think we all did). He was truly special, universally loved by his colleagues, and he exemplified how we should treat others.

JP embodied warmth, compassion, love, generosity and so much more. I am so very saddened to hear this news. You will be missed every day, JP ♥️
JP was THE LIGHT at the end of the tunnel for my chronic pain patients. He had this amazing talent for helping them to break free from the cuffs of pills as only solution and begin to redefine their pain.  I was so mad when he left the Pain Clinic! I was mostly sad for my patients.  But then I soon learned that he had so many other places he had to go to give and teach and heal.  I know many of us felt the same way--when JP walked up and stood next to you, everything was going to be okay, deep breath and sigh.  To his family, I am so sorry for your loss. JP was an angel, and Heaven took him from us way too soon.
JP was perhaps the sweetest person I've ever known. He was warm, kind, compassionate, and the kind of person you wanted to spend all day with. I learned so much from him, laughed so hard with him, and I truly cherish him. My heart goes out to his amazing family and all those who loved this great man.

With deepest sympathy and with fondest memories of the light and love JP so genuinely shared with all.

Sending my heartfelt condolences and love to the Garofalo family.

Getting to work with JP meant there was never a dull moment.  Not only was he fun and always making me laugh, but he was incredibly supportive and the best cheerleader.  He often believed in me when I failed to believe in myself, and I will not forget that. He is deeply missed.

JP was one of my favorite people to work with at Kaiser. Always a kind word. Always a listening ear. Took you seriously when needed and added levity when appropriate. I am so, so sorry to hear of his loss. Sending love.

Sincerest condolences to you all for your heartbreaking loss.

JP was the most kind, sincere, and warm person I have ever known.  He was always there to support everyone around him with his open heart and great sense of humor.    He will forever be in my heart and mind and I know that he will always be with us all in spirit wherever we go.

JP was like a warm hug—gentle, genuine, and full of light. He had a way of brightening every space he entered, his joyful spirit and kind voice lingering long after the moment passed. Whether in person or across a screen, his energy reached people’s hearts and drew them together. He will be deeply missed, but the warmth he shared will remain with all who knew him. Sending my deepest condolences and prayers.
JP was a bright light in today’s world! He always had a smile on his face, joy in his heart  and took the time to make others feel special. I know how fiercely he loved his family and he was an amazing friend to others. He set a beautiful  example of what truly matters in this world and how to live life. JP will be  greatly missed!

Deepest condolences to the Garofalo family.

I’m certain that everyone who knew JP would agree—there are few like him. He was a truly kindhearted and generous soul, always offering support and encouragement to others. His presence will never be forgotten. I’m deeply grateful to have known him and wish the world were not missing such a bright light

JP was one of the most patient, loving, and intelligent men I have ever known. I am incredibly grateful for the time I spent being coached by him and for everything he taught me, both on and off the field. He made a lasting impact on my life, and I will always carry that with me. Shannah, Nicco, and Mia, my heart is with you and your entire family during this incredibly difficult time.
