John Francis Connelly, 76, peacefully journeyed into eternity with his son, Patrick, by his side on May 24, 2021 after an eighteen day battle with stage four pancreatic cancer.

He was born in Norwich, Connecticut on February 14, 1945 to John E Connelly and Alice (Papinski) Connelly.

John grew-up in Jewett City, Connecticut where he remained to commit his life to his family and his community.

John attended Griswold High School, where he graduated in …

Funeral events are private

John requested a private and simple service with just immediate family. In place of flowers, John requested donations be made to his favorite charities, Those charities were Friends of Slater Library, The Griswold Senior Citizen Center, and The Griswold Pride.
