John Robert Beverly, Sr., 65, of Bountiful, UT went to be with our Lord on June 22, 2018. He grew up in Florida before moving to Georgia and ultimately to Utah. As a young man, he was a Sergeant in the United States Army and served overseas for many years. After the army, he served in the United States Postal Service, retiring in 2002. After enjoying hunting and fishing, and honey do's around the house, he became a school bus driver. He was well loved by the children, and often wore costumes on special days. For Christmas, he was Santa. At Easter, he wore a top hat with bunny ears that moved. For Halloween, he was a pirate. He went the extra mile to teach the kids respect and safety. In nine years, he never had a fight or quarrel on his bus. A devout Christian, he also taught acolyte classes at church and ferried many youth groups to summer retreats. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his mother, Nina, Brothers Jerry (Susan) and James (Vickie), Sisters Wanda and Nina Lee (Ken Carberry), sons John Jr. (Jammi), Andrew, stepson Dan, Five beautiful grandchildren (Jimmi, Jordan, Jacob, Jasper and Joseph).
