" MY FRIEND JOHN"

As life continues, I stop to think how blessed I was to have such a special friend as, JOHN R. BEVERLY. He was always there for me no matter what the situation was. I'm not sure he knew the word, "NO'. He was there to help me and when I stood back to watch John at work or play, I knew I wanted to be on his team. His team Captain was JESUS, the best Captain of all. Because of JOHN'S love for others, he would bring to the table, a vast set of daily skills. He could do fine paintings, fix cars, out fish and out hunt anyone. He loved a good laugh and could tell a great story. His cooking skills would equal many a chef. John was a high school football player, a member of the U.S.ARMY and a patriot. He was a total package that we were very proud of being there for us all, when needed.

JOHN fought a tough battle with several health issues in recent years. A lesser man would have surrendered long ago. John was brave to the end, leaving the field of battle on his shield. God just give me the strength to carry on life just like JOHN. My HERO - JOHN set the standard for living life - what a great example to live by.
