Born on November 20, 1942, in DeRidder, Louisiana, John Benziger built a life marked by integrity, resilience, generosity, and a deep devotion to those he loved. His journey took him from Louisiana to Chicago, Illinois, and later to Austin, Georgetown, and finally Granger, Texas, where he enjoyed his retirement.

John is survived by his wife of 60 years and best friend, Carol Benziger, and their daughters Angel, Melinda, Julie, and Michelle. He is also survived …
