John Joseph Anker, Jr., age 70, of Glenn Mills Pa., formerly of Wilmington,
Delaware, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, after a long battle with a terminal illness.
John was born May1, 1953 and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. He was the son of the late John Joseph Anker, Sr., and Mary Anker. He graduated from Thomas McKean High School in 1971. While there, John enjoyed sports and lettered several times on the varsity football …
