Joseph's obituary

Joseph Tiano, 64, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2020. Born September 4, 1956, Joe was the son of the late Felix 'Duke' Tiano and the late Barbara Tiano. A life long resident of Chattanooga, he was a member of both Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and St. Jude Catholic Church. Joe was a 1974 graduate of The Baylor School. Some of Joe's greatest stories always seemed to center around growing up in the Valleybrook area with his brother and friends and the trouble they would get into. Joe was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on the Tennessee Vols, always enjoyed spending time at the beach, and cherished time spent with his friends and family.
Joe is survived by his four children, Jessica Tiano, Lindsy Autry (RJ), Adam Tiano, and Alexandra Tiano; his grandchildren Joseph Fletcher Autry and Sloane Autry; his Brother Steve Tiano; his aunts Sharon Feeney-Jones, Barbara Tiano, and Frances Tiano; uncle John 'Sheriff’ Tiano and countless beloved family and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Felix 'Duke' Tiano and Barbara Tiano; Sister Kathy Tiano; and many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family plans to receive family and friends and have a Celebration of Life for Joe on Wednesday April 14th from 4-7pm at The Chattanooga Event Center located at 2193 Park Drive, Suite One, 37421. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Joe's name.
