Joel Matthew Hansen, age 42, of West Berlin, NJ, passed away on Sunday May 2, 2021. Beloved son of Susan (nee Brennan) and the late Thomas Hansen. Loving brother of Colleen (Jeffrey) Hunter. Proud uncle of Gage, Rylie, Manning, and Bryson. Dear nephew of John-Skip (Betty) Brennan, Bill (Glynes) Brennan, Robert Brennan, Nancy Hixon, Colleen (Duane) Clark, Jimmy Brennan, Kevin Hansen, Kimberly (David) Bove, Susan Lenker Hornung, and David Lenker. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his cousins Heather Brennan, Johnny Brennan, Michelle Thompson, BJ Thompson, Karl (Beth) Brennan, Kurtis (April) Brennan, Keith (Christina) Brennan, Dawn Wood, Bobby (Christine) Brennan, Anthony (Autumn) Palumbo, Michael (Grace) Palumbo, Carrie (Ryan) Schlabaugh, Kellie (Kyle) Hixon, Kali Clark, Kaitlyn Clark , Kyle & Marc Brennan, Shawn Bove, David Bove, Danielle Parker, Michelle Lenker, Donna Lenker, and Kelley Lenker, as well as many other extended family and friends.

Joel was born in Fort Hood, Texas, grew up on Pin Oak Dr. Atco NJ and resided in West Berlin, NJ for the past several years. Joel was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing video games. Binged watching Leverage with his sister, and his biggest enjoyment, however, was being with all his family.

A viewing will be held on Monday May 10, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 12:00 pm. Cremation will be held privately.
