I just want to say nobody ever had a bad word about JoAnn.
She was very liked and dedicated to her work.

Joanne's sincerity and compassion for her work, clients and coworkers is unparalleled and made her a truly unique person. I have only fond memories of sharing laughs whenever we problem-solved together.
Bless her soul.

Joanne was always a great person to talk in any situation and remained a realist. She had a gift to see the potential in people that perhaps others couldn’t see and brought out your gift. She always had her teams back. She will be greatly missed and is irreplaceable. I know she is in a great place and her spirit will continue to be with us.

I met Joanne 23 years ago when she hired me to work on her team. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with her again on Soarian. She was a great person, leader, and mentor. I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace.

I was devastated to hear about Joanne. I first met her back in 1994 when we started to work on a project in a building in Manhasset and continued working with her for a couple of decades. She always had a smile on her face and broke the most complex problems into simple solvable pieces. Her office was a sanctuary of reason and peace.
She was so proud of her home in the Poconos! When the construction started she would bring pictures of this giant hole in the ground and we would watch them with awe since we did not want to bring down her enthusiasm.
Kind hearted , bubbling with optimism and always available to lend a helping hand.
Sad to see a great soul pass away this early. She left a positive impression on everyone who met her and I will miss her.
Our deepest condolences to Raul and Joanne’s Family.

Joanne's passing was such a shock, my heart is broken. I was fortunate enough to know Joanne for the past 10 years. She ALWAYS had a way to make me laugh and make even the toughest of things seem easier. She is such a good soul. I will miss her deeply.

I don’t even know how to begin to communicate what Joanne meant to me. I still get a lump in my throat when I think of what an amazing person we have all lost. I came onto LIJ as a consultant but Joanne welcomed me with open arms and always made sure I knew I was part of the LIJ, (later Northwell), family. She was not only my mentor and my person that we could vent to each other (never negatively always positive because that’s who she was). I will miss our Thursday afternoon chats before I went to the airport. Sometimes we talked so long it was a mad dash to my plane. Even after I left Northwell, we stayed in touch, always saying we were going to work together again. We may not work together again but we will meet again. My deepest condolences to her family and all who have been touched by Joanne. She was bigger than life and she will be missed by many.

I remember driving to Albany in the car with Joanne and Nilish to to visit a Soarian Platform Site. It was a fun ride filled with laughter and pleasant moments. Joanne mentioned how much she loves driving and didn't like planes or like to fly. She mentioned her and her husband driving across the united states to visit family and have these awesome long road trips full of memories. Joanne was the brain of the Soarian Operations I always said.. smart, witty, focused, thought provoking and optimistic even though we Soarian had its challenges along the way. We always joked about her calling me "Tah-muh-ruh" versus Tuh-mah-rah and i would always start of my introductions with both pronunciations of my name just because she called me that😁 . She was such a great person in my time of working with her and we would always spend time talking passing the coffee breakroom or hallway or bathroom when in melville. Her smile that lights up the room and presence will be drastically missed! - (One of her Northwell Colleagues on the Project Access Team )

I’ve struggled to find the words as I’m sure most of us have. Joanne was one of the first people I met when I started and I was instantly drawn to her positive attitude, kindness and laugh. She would call me her “calendar goddess” and even though it was the smallest things she would ask for help with, she was ALWAYS so appreciative. She genuinely made an effort to ask about my daughters and couldn’t wait for me to send her pictures because that’s just the type of person she was. She truly cared about everyone around her. I will miss her so much and feel so lucky that I got to call her a friend. Sending my deepest condolences to her family and all who loved her. May she rest in peace.

I met Joanne the first day I started working at Northwell 10 years ago. We went through the good, bad and ugly in our projects but her voice, her laughter and let's not forget, her famous analogies to describe complicated things. One time I told her I wanted to grow up to be like her, her famous notebooks and what we called "Joannisms" ... I am at 2HQ today and stopped at her old office, still has her name on it and her writing on the whiteboard that says "Thank you 2HQ for the memories!" signed JP. I'll miss you Joanne. You live in our hearts and thank you for the memories and laughter we shared (sometimes tears too).
