I still want to call you often, Jo, just to get your opinion or advice. I miss your common sense, your calm,  and that easy way you had. ❤️❤️
It's been three years since you've gone. Our loving dog Dottie, your best friend, also left suddenly just a few months after you did. She was only 11. I know she was missing you a lot and continued to watch for you and wait for you to come home. I have no doubt you are together again.  I miss you every single day. We will be together again. Love always.

I will always remember Joanne for the smile she always wore.  Beautiful lady, loving heart.  I am blessed to have known her.
So many memories of good times with Jo!  Most of them are Don & Jo: camping, canoeing, drive in movies, anything outdoors, the two of them would often invite me along.  Jo was only 3 years older than me, but growing up she was always showing me the way just by her example.  When she was a senior at Rosati Kain and I was a freshman, she made sure that her best friend Sally was appointed my "big sister" so Jo would know that I'd have a good person to guide me through my freshman year.  I knew she would be a great mom; loving and caring for others came naturally to her.  Miss you, Jo!
If heaven is a real thing, she's there; there is much more in my heart to say but I'm sharing it silently with Jo.
