Joans love was her family up to the very end. She was looking forward to all of us being together again. Joans house was always to place to go for parties. She was well known for the games she made up. The best party was Easter, 2019. Almost all of the family was there which was rare as we have all spread out. Joan also had a love of God. She was even witnessing to the staff where she spend her last few months. I was blessed to spend the last few months with her having conversations and laughing. Its so difficult to see your loved ones pass from this world but very comforting that I know she is now with the Lord and we will see her again one day. The world is a better place because you were in it and left many good memories and laughter behind. Love you. Lisa
Grammie was a one of a kind. Kind, gentle, selfless, always looking for fun with her grandchildren, and just an overall good person. From going to her house every weekend when I was younger to going to every holiday event either it being at her house or my dads. She was always someone to look forward to seeing. Strong memories I have with her is when she came to grandparents day at my elementary school and spending the day with me there, and my brothers as well. Also, going to church. I’d always hope to see her at church because she’d always have a smile in the morning when I’d be tired and not wanting to be there. I always saw church and God as a passion of hers. Grammie was a Godly woman and I know she’s doing better being closer to him. I love you Grammie.
My dear Mother-in-law, You were a precious gift from God, So much beauty, grace, love with such a giving heart you possessed. You touched my heart in so many ways, your strength and smile even on dark days made me realize I had an angel beside me. God blessed me by having you in my life. I will miss the many visits, dinners, celebrations, and laughs we had.
