I am Joan's niece Myke (short for Michele.) My Mother Bernice was her older sister.  I can't recall any Birthday that we spent together but we usually spoke on the phone and or sent a card to each other on our birthday.  When she would visit her sisters and nieces  and nephews here we always got together for dinners and pokeno games. We all made fun of her accent....."centah"  She took it like a champ.  She watched us grow and then our children.  We loved her and we miss her. Her birthday twin.....nephew Tom is 70 today! Happy Heavenly Birthday Auntie!
