Joni and I were classmates  at Hibbing, High.  Although we never chummed together we were drawn together by our ability to harmonize. plus we both had a special needs child in life.  She had such a spirit that one  was uplifted by her presence.  Rest in peace, Joan... the world has lost a vey special woman..

She was a gentle and loving soul with a sharp, playful sense of humor. From the very first moment I met her, she made me laugh and feel welcomed. Her warmth, wit, and kindness will always stay with me.
