Joan "Joni" Madrene O'Neil, 91, of Hibbing, entered into eternal rest on December 16, 2025, at her home in Coon Rapids. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Terrance, and their sons Jeffrey and Russell. She is held in loving remembrance by her children, Shawn, Michael (Lisa), Tim, Jean, and MariBeth (Peter), along with her twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Joni embraced each day as a reflection of her steadfast Catholic faith. Prayer was the foundation of her life, shaping her with compassion and grace. She carried the light of Christ within her, offering comfort, encouragement, and love through her gentle presence. Her home radiated warmth and peace, a place where anyone could find understanding, solace, and the blessing of her heartfelt prayers. Though our hearts ache at her passing, we carry her spirit with us, grateful for every moment we were blessed to share. A celebration of Joni's life will be held at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing, MN.
