Jim was one of my grandfather’s closet and oldest friends. While I did not see him often, every time I did he would smile and wish me a happy birthday or congratulate me on my latest achievement with a nice card and a $100 bill. While I appreciated the gift, I appreciated him and Mimi remembering me even more. He will be missed but I’m glad he’ll be able to join my Aba in heaven.
