Jill D. Jeannides, 46, of Lake Forest, IL passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2021 in Marco Island, FL.  Beloved daughter of Paul and Irene Jeannides; Cherished sister of Lindsey (Sean) Casey, Steven (Andrea) Jeannides, and the late Nick Jeannides. Loving aunt of Mia, Emma, Berenger and Phoenix Jeannides, and Kona Casey. Niece and Godchild of Eugene (Diane) Bereza, Gabrielle Jeannides. Cousin of Dennis, Ann Bereza, Andrea (Tim) Grass, David (Laurie) Mraz. Jill graduated from Lake Forest High School and attended Vanderbilt University, DePaul University, American Academy of Art and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she received a BFA in fine arts. Jill also pursued post-graduate studies at UCLA and received a certificate in landscape architecture. She was an acclaimed artist with murals still residing in Chicago’s City Hall in addition to a robust private collection. 

Jill was incredibly gifted in math and became the youngest female to ever hold a seat at the Chicago Board of Trade.  

Jill was an extraordinary tennis player. She was an elite junior who trained at Nick Bolleteri’s, but she soon developed scoliosis resulting in a full spinal fusion. Against all odds, she later rose to the title of#2 in the state of Illinois at the age of 17.

She traveled the world doing Tai Chi in Chinese, learning German in Vienna, painting in France, and meeting family in Ukraine. She was fluent in French and German, could write in Chinese, and was actively studying Ukrainian. 

Jill is laid to rest next to her best friend and brother, Nick.
