Jesse, although we never met in person I felt like I knew you through your mother.  We did speak on occasion over the phone when you visited her.  Your mom was always so happy when you were with her.

You will be greatly missed.  The world will be a lesser place without you in it.

My deepest sympathy to your entire family.

Jesse and Josh came to my sis…
2021, Chicago, IL, USA
Jesse and Josh came to my sister's wedding a few years ago. My family has always loved Josh, and when giving him a plus one, he decided to bring his baby brother. Put plainly, my whole family fell in love with Jesse that night. They were captured by his vivaciousness, his warmness, his comfortability, and his spirit. My mom even invited him to please come back and visit because she would miss him so much. Josh and Jesse were both literally the life of the party that night. My family still talks about it. They only met him once, but were so taken by him. There are so many videos and pictures from that evening, but I think this one of Jesse’s guest book entry represents Jesse the best: someone who spreads love and joy wherever he went; someone who will be loved forever.
My sincere sympathies to the family.  Jesse was a very unique person. He's thought of daily by his Unum team.  He had a way of making each one of us feel like we had our own special relationship with him.  He is sorely missed.
Dear Jesse ( aka Jess Ball) you let your light shine in the darkness and lived such a large life for a young man. Your smile, laughter and humor graced so many and made them better. Your generosity of time and spirit touched those who were often ignored or forgotten. Whether befriending so many, volunteering, or just showing up you exemplified kindness. From cute kid in flip flops to the wonderful man you grew into, it was a blessing to have you in my life as much as I did and you are cherished. You were taken too soon yet you live on in the hearts of many. There is a hole that can not be filled. I ache as do the rest of your family and friends. Special love and prayers of comfort for Josh, Catherine and Jim as they try to begin to process this and move forward.

Jesse was an amazing human being with a huge heart! He was genuine, sincere, smart, loving, kind and I can go on and on!

He truly cared about everyone he met along the way and my heart breaks as I write this message. His work family will keep his spirit and legacy alive and I know he’s watching from above for sure. He showed us the best skin and hair routine and always made us laugh. He has this beautiful spirit about him that was so contagious. No matter what the issue may have been, Jesse was always there to help you in any way that he could. He’s just that kind of guy with so much love to give. Missing everything about Jesse and we will see each other one day.

I am sending love, prayers and a huge hug to Jesse’s Mom, Dad, brother, Lucy, Frank and the entire family because I know this is not easy what you are going through. We are here for you all and will continue praying for each of you during this difficult time.

We are so sorry. Know that is a difficult thing for you. Prayers.
I'm so sorry for the loss of Jesse. I'll always think of him whenever I see a pug. Jesse was too young to pass but he passed on a life to others with his donation of organs. He will be remembered by many. Rest in Peace Jesse Ragland.

I am so blessed to have had Jesse as part of my family while raising my boys. Jesse came to visit at Christmas & it was the last hug I got & I will never forget his humor, hugs & laughter. I got to talk on the phone but that was the last face to face visit & I will cherish that last visit & all our hiking & camping trips. Jesse you will forever be missed & be in my heart forever.
My daughter and I met Jesse in 2003 when we moved to the Nolensville neighborhood.  My daughter, Jessie, was thrilled to see other kids in the cul-de-sac and I would find her playing with the boys building the “fort”.  They went to school and grew up and became great people.  We are saddened by the loss of this sweet young man and send our deepest condolences.
My condolences to the family of Jesse Ragland.  Gone too soon, he was a wonderful guy, so kind, caring and full of life.
I met Jesse through Starbucks drive thru. He was in college and I got espresso every day after work. I eventually became his hairdresser and he was a fast friend to everyone I worked with. He was my Starbucks child. He always was first at a Happy Birthday and Mother's Day text. He is missed by many. As a mother myself, my heart breaks for you and your family.
