Jesse's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a cherished son and brother, Jesse Ragland. Born on March 10, 1996, Jesse's journey through life ended unexpectedly on February 8, 2024, leaving a trail of warm and unforgettable memories.
Remembered for his warmth, vivacity, and witticism, Jesse was a ray of sunshine in the lives of many. A man who lived by the golden rule, 'do unto others as you'd have done to you,' he exemplified affection and generosity, leaving a legacy that will be etched in the hearts of those he touched.
Jesse is survived by his beloved family members. He leaves behind his supportive parents, Catherine Ragland and Jim Ragland, his caring brother, Josh Ragland, and his loving son, Frank. He is also survived by his former spouse, Lucy LaSuer, and his Aunts, Suzanne Williams and MaryAnne Poole. Each of these family members played a significant role in Jesse's life, showering him with love and nurturing the man he became.
A celebration of Jesse's life will be held on March 9, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at the Sleepyhead Coffee located at the intersection of Main and Dodds. This will be an occasion to remember, mourn, and celebrate a unique life lived with love, warmth, and a brilliant sense of humor. We invite those who knew Jesse to join us on this day to remember the moments of joy and laughter shared and to celebrate the man who brought sunshine into our lives.
Rest in Peace, Jesse Ragland. Your warmth, generosity, and wit will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
