Since we were not able to be there, thank you so much for the live stream. We really appreciate it. It was so honoring to God and to Jerry's life. Nathan, the video is amazing and captured so many aspects of his and Susan's life. I remember being at Arlington Heights Chapel one Sunday morning when we were visiting with our children in Chicago, and was pleasantly surprised to see that Jerry was the speaker and we got to meet Sue.

I remember so many fun times with cousins and family in DC, and the visits with Jerry and Sue when they were in the states on furlough.  They were precious times together.  We will continue to uplift all of you in prayer.

We were glad to be able to participate in the Memorial Service on Line.  It was so uplifting, with all the photos and memories of the Pfaff family.  Also so glorifying to the Lord.  Our prayers for comfort and blessing.
I was so glad to have had the ability to attend on-line. So many beautiful memories, my eyes are blurring it's hard to write. That beautiful song that Julie sung I don't think I have ever heard it before, everything about the man that Jerry was, such a glory to God. I'm so glad to have known him. Jerry and Sue have had a big impact on my life. I saw a loving marriage and commitment to God's word. They helped my learn how to study the Bible, they always had a listening ear in my early Christian days. Glory to God!
Sue, Julie, Matthew and Nathan, we love you. I, Valmai Maskell, watched Jerry's memorial service from Australia (5am Sunday). IT was honouring to God and to Jerry. May the God of all Comfort Comfort you. "Hallelujah, Hallelujah And He shall reign forever and ever. King of Kings and LORD of LORDs". Praise God. I remember singing that with you in the choir and Christmas Caroling at Ukarumpa . A foretaste of heaven. May God bless you. Valmai, Laurie, Joy, Lydia, Mark, Joshua and David Maskell family.

I watched the live stream from Myrtle Beach, SC. My heart was with you in person and my prayers are always with you. Nathan’s video took me down memory lane as I knew Jerry and Sue when I was in PNG teaching at the Primary School. I actually got to do itinerant teaching on Manus Island with a family translating the Titan New Testament.

I’ve seen Jerry and Sue twice at Bethany Bible Chapel in Conway, SC, the last time being March 2021. I’m so glad for those visits and those walks down memory lane.

But when my Mom was 10O Jerry and Sue  came to visit me  in  Myrtle Beach, SC  and that was a highlight for me in 2015!

Thank you for streaming Jerry’s service and I hope Sue can feel my arms wrap around her in a hug! I love you so much!

Dear Pfaff family,

We are so thankful that we could be a part of this beautiful tribute to the Lord Jesus and to Jerry’s dedicated life to His service.  We are so sorry that we couldn’t be there in person, but we continue praying for each one of you in the days, weeks and years ahead. Jerry’s life is a personal encouragement to us to walk by faith and not by sight.

With all our love and prayers,

David and Shirley

The service and music ministered to me just like your visits all ways did.

May the God of all comfort keep you  and His arms hold and support you all in the life ahead.

Watched from Sandy, Oregon.

Thank you Pfaff family for so generously sharing Jerry with the rest of us. Our deepest condolences as you continue to process this great loss. He is surely in ‘good company’ and where we all long to be…

I’ll always recall his warm smile and very contagious and pleasant and joy-filled demeanor. So honored to have known him, as brief as it was.

Warmest and deepest regards,

tOdd for the Lindleys

Our prayers are with you.  The funeral was an appropriate testimony to Jerry's life.  May the Lord bless you all.  Pastor and Jean Lowther
George & Debbie Bender watched online in Longview, Texas. The video brought back great memories of our time together at Ukarumpa. May God continue to give you wisdom and strength and lead your future. Love, George & Deb
Thank you so much for making it possible for those of us from afar to be with you at the memorial service. As ever, one learns a lot about a person after the event! How blessed you are to have so many photos and lovely memories of dear Jerry.  The service was very God honouring. May He give you His strength in the coming days. Will be specially praying for your family time on Monday.
Watching from Makawao, Hawaii. We love you Pfaff family! Crying and laughing as we watch the service. Enjoyed many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, frisbee golf and laughter with your family,  Jerry's life certainly honored God as he loved people and served HIS Lord with joy.

I watched the livestream from Dallas, Texas. Both laughed & cried, as so many, many memories were shared by so many who also knew & loved Jerry as our family did. So very, very grateful the Lord, in His goodness allowed our paths to meet in 2002, using Jerry as His faithful servant to show us the way to get to Papua New Guinea.

Our lives were forever blessed as our families became one as a direct result of that God appointed meeting!

Wow! What a legacy. Not good-bye,  thankfully it’s just  “see you later” Jerry!

Deb & Russ Martin

Zak and I are watching the service live and are with you in spirit. We met Jerry several years ago as we were getting ready to move to Papua New Guinea, and he and Sue encouraged and mentored us before we even arrived in PNG and during our first term there. We had the privilege of working with them for a couple of years in Manus Province and seeing the incredible impact they have had in that region, both in the Nali language area where they served, and also throughout the province as they trained and equipped anyone who showed interest in Bible translation.  Jerry left an incredible legacy of faith behind.  Our family will miss him.
I watched the Livestream from Dallas, TX.  Sue, Julie, Matt and Nathan, what a truly God honoring service in dedication to your beloved husband and father. What a tremendous life lived for his Savior and Lord!

Joining the Celebration of Life service for Jerry from Wisconsin. So blessed to participate. God Bless.
We want to express our sincere sympathy to Sue and family. Jerry's leadership and faithful service to the work in Papua New Guinea  greatly  blessed so many-us included. We are presently watching his memorial service on livestream....Lauren and Connie Runia
I’m so sorry I can’t be with you in person today, but I’m watching online, and I’m with you in spirit and in love. Uncle Jerry was an amazing person, and a great loss!

LaVonne Westlund, live streaming from Helsinki, Finland. Continued prayers for you all.

We're so glad we can watch the livestream of Jerry's memorial service. We have pleasant memories of knowing him and Sue when they lived in the Chicago area in the 1970's.
