AD - Jerry's passing hit me like a 🔨.
He was such a good man/friend/husband/father.
We spoke several times over the summer. I connected him to a Ghanian(i had befriended), Gideon, who works at Whole Food in Fairfield, CT.
They spoke over the phone. And discovered they were from the same village. Gideon was ecstatic, as was Jerry. That beautiful smile of his shone right through the phone.
The last thing he told me, was that he would visit Connecticut soon. And wanted to go to lunch with me, Humphrey and Firpi.
We all worked the graveyard shift with AD(his wife) for many years.
Love, Johnny Boy

In Loving Memory of My Jerry
(1979 – 2025)
Jerry was more than a nephew to me — he was My Jerry. That name came from a special bond, one built on love, trust, and a deep sense of pride. He had a quiet strength, a generous heart, and a presence that made everyone feel seen and valued. He gave without needing recognition and cared deeply without saying too much. He had a way of showing up just when you needed him most — with kindness, with wisdom, or just his calming presence.
He was a man with big dreams and the drive to make them real. A rising businessman, focused and full of promise, yet always humble. His success never made him arrogant — it made him more generous. He worked hard, not just for himself, but to uplift others and create something meaningful. Jerry had the rare balance of ambition and compassion — a heart that stayed grounded even as he reached for more.
Most of all, Jerry loved the Lord. His faith was real, steady, and quietly powerful. He didn’t preach it — he lived it. In his choices, his kindness, and the peace he carried, you could see God’s hand on his life. Losing him at 46 is painful beyond words, but I take comfort knowing he lived well, loved deeply, and left a legacy of faith, strength, and love. Rest well, My Jerry. You were truly one of a kind — and you will always live in my heart.

Jerry was a nephew and good man. He was full of compassion. I know he loved the Lord. Jerry has touched so many lives while alive. It has so pleased the good Lord to call him back to Himself. My Condolences to the wife, children, father and the entire paternal and maternal families. Jerry, as you journey back to your Maker and our Father at the prime of your life, I wish you sound sleep. See you again on the resurrection morning.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Jerry. I had the honor of knowing Jerry for years, when we worked together at Building Blocks (formerly Child’s World Academy) in Monroe, CT. Jerry had such a kind soul, a huge heart and radiant energy. Jerry always spoke passionately about his family, Ghana, his cashew farms and so much more. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Jerry’s wife and children, Jerry’s eyes always lit up when he spoke about them, always with a huge smile on his face. It was obvious how much you were all adored and how proud he was of his family. My sincerest condolences to Jerry’s wife, children, family and friends. My heart goes out to you all during this difficult time. Rest in Peace, Jerry.

My deepest condolences to Jerry's family. I first met Jerry through his cousins Selassie and Edem Aidam and we quickly became friends turned to brothers. Jerry was very hardworking, respectful, humble and kind. May God keep your soul. Rest In Peace brother. You will be missed.

Brother Jerry gone too soon. Exceptionally kind and caring, and a great cook. The best jollof rice around, hands down. I wish we could all have more time with you. You created a wonderful example of a father. Your memory shall live on. Rest in peace Bro.

Jerry was a man with a heart of gold, whose presence brought warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love to all who knew him.
Your devotion as a husband/father and how you adored Adrienne beyond measure was always amazing to witness . His guidance, advice and care shaped the lives of so many. He believed deeply in the power of family, the importance of education, and the legacy of generational wealth — values he not only taught, but lived every single day.
His warm smile, generous spirit, and welcoming home that he often opened to so many left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Jerry gave back freely, always ready to lend a hand or offer kind words, expecting nothing in return but the joy of helping others. During my masters program you always told me to stay focused and don’t let anyone sidetrack the goal! You led a life full of love, meaning, and purpose. It was an honor to know you and be a part of your life. It was an honor to sit at the table many times and break bread with you. My thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with the entire family and may his memory be a blessing, and may his legacy live on in the lives he touched
