What I loved most about Jerry was her capacity for love. She loved unabashedly, not just her own blood kin....but her husband and all of his family, and anyone else who just needed it. Besides that, her sense of humor stands out in my memories.  I will miss her.

Jerry was special to me. She was a woman who always took care of her family. Family always came first to her. I will never forget how she treated me when I moved from Seattle to Texas. I am so very sorry you kids lost your Mother.

I found out at the young age of twelve that the coolest gift you could ever receive is a sister in law. They introduce you to all the fun first things in your life. Jerry took me to the zoo,circus,mall, Chinese restaurants ,movies,the list goes on and on. I didn’t want to be apart from her when she started working. When she worked at Sylvan Drugs I would set at the soda fountain her entire shift . When she worked at the Laporte theater She would take me with her . She would set me in the theater for her eight hour shift. I saw The Ghost and Mr Chicken 5 times that day .lol The best thing she ever did for me was making me Aunt Carmen.
