I am just now seeing this and it is terrible to know that Jennifer is gone. We were never close friends, but I spent 5th and 6th grade with her in the same class at Lakeview Elementary. She was always the prettiest and nicest girl in the school. I was far too intimidated by her goodness to ever really approach or connect with her. Many years later, when Facebook become big, I found her and connected with her. She admitted that she did not remember me, but very much appreciated the opportunity to connect with me on FB and talk about the "good old days" and the crazy kids we both knew. It is hard to know what to say, and none of us really know why God takes those we love from us so soon, but I pray that everyone who knew and loved Jennifer will be able to smile and appreciate the time they had with her. She was one-of-a-kind.

I met Jennifer over the years in our neighborhood while walking our dogs. We had many enjoyable conversations about our fur babies. I saw her and her Mom a couple of months ago and got an update on her journey. Jennifer and I would talk about our shared experiences with breast cancer. I will miss seeing and talking with her.
