Jennifer's obituary
Jennifer was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 26th, 1971. She spent the early years of her life on the family farm in Mercer County, West Virginia, a place she loved dearly and visited often throughout her life. In 1982, the family moved to Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and Jennifer graduated from Mount Juliet High School in 1989. She remained close to many friends and classmates over the years, attending her 30 year class reunion in 2019. Over the course of her adult life, Jennifer was active in the real estate business in Nashville, working as a successful closing agent and gifted business administrator.
Jennifer was the life and soul of family gatherings, where she spent many hours with her father and brothers playing and singing the music she loved. She also served as the family historian, tracing her genealogy on both sides and entertaining family members with fascinating stories of long lost relatives. She loved animals and provided a wonderful home to dogs she adopted over the years. Her backyard was a sanctuary for birds, squirrels, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife she enjoyed watching. Jennifer’s kind nature, her fun-loving and open minded outlook on life, her independent spirit, and her loyalty and care for friends and family members were a source of joy and inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her.
Jennifer will be lovingly remembered by her father, Ray Pierce, and her mother, Janet Vaughan Pierce, who faithfully cared for Jennifer in the last months of her life. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother Eric (Jennifer), nieces Olivia and Clara, her brother Matthew (Laurie), and nieces Ramona and Mahala. Her aunt and uncle Dorothy and Jerry Kaiser, her dear friend Glenda Murphy, and many other family members and friends will also hold her memory in their hearts.
A memorial service for family and friends will be announced at a future date when circumstances permit.
