Jen we had a very special bond from the day you were born Uncle Larry and I loved you from day one. You were like one of our own and more of a sister to LJ and Jackie then a cousin. I have so many memories from you growing up. When you graduated UK and came to live with us to start your career I was thrilled to get to work with you. I was so proud of the Mom you became when you had Hadley and know that was the happiest day of your life. I take comfort in the hope that Uncle Larry and Gram are taking care of you now with Peanut at your side. I hope you are at peace and have wings that sparkle ! I’ll love you forever 💔 RIP

Aunt Betty Jane’s Back Patio

Jen & Peanut. Jen loved her dog Peanut, something fierce. When she wanted to move from Louisville to NJ, I told her I would the Uhaul & tow her car & make the trip with her. Peanut sat between us in the truck cab, the whole ride. It was quite the adventure & an experience that I’ll never forget sharing with Jen.

You came into this world on Valentine’s day with a big heart, a loving child so full of life.  I was so excited that I got to be your Godmother!  You loved spending time at Aunt Betty Jane’s and Uncle Larry’s where I would mostly find you, playing with your best friend across the street.  You and my friend’s daughter would end up in the same dance classes and recitals.  “If I knew you were coming I’d a baked a cake…..”  So full of love and life . . . . you loved dancing and performing, all about the glitter and sequence!  That would always be a part of your life that you would pass on to your daughter, your mini me.  When I visited you in Georgia, your love of life was diminishing so we moved you, your Mom and sister to Kentucky where you once again started to flourish.  Because of your love for life you always made friends some you kept for a lifetime.  I remember how we would sneak away from your Mom’s house and go to Tates Creek parking lot for driving lessons and I would let you drive my car.  I took my family out so you could use my house for your sweet sixteen party.  I also remember getting angry when we had to delay our NJ trip so you could go to the last day of school so you could get your “perfect attendance” certificate, which you received multiply years.  That dedication and determination is what made you such a successful college student.  How proud we all were of you when you walked across the stage at UK for your diploma.  You would take that education to NJ and start a career, get married and have a daughter.  UK would always be close to your heart, you even found a group of true blue fans in NJ to watch the CATS play!  Only you could pull that off!  I don’t know enough to know what life might have been like for you in your last months, but the Lord knew the love you carried in your heart and took you home on Christmas morning.  The same day that He showed his love to us, by giving us a Savior that would spread love throughout the world.  Rest in peace Jennifer, I know you are wrapped in loving arms for eternity. I met Jen when our daughters were in Kindergarten together and we were both homeroom moms. We quickly became the best of friends. She was the one person I felt closest to as the years went by and our girls got older and remained close friends. We would meet up every other week to play trivia and catch up. We got together often for movies, concerts, game nights, and girls nights out . She became the one person I could call day or night no matter what, and I am absolutely heartbroken by her passing. She loved her family and daughter Hadley more than words, and she had the biggest heart of anyone I knew. I will miss her beyond words. My thoughts and prayers are with all that knew and loved her. Rest in Peace my friend...until we meet again...
