Mrs. Jeannine Beckum, age 82, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, June 11, 2024. She was a native of Normantown and was descended from its founder, Norman Williamson. Jeannine met the love of her life, Wayne Beckum, at a church event at Smith Street Baptist Church. They were married for 57 years and were blessed with three children. She sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for decades. After her children were school-aged, Jeannine earned her …
