On January 20, 2024 Jeanne DaLana Willis unexpectedly departed this life, which she often called “the most amazing journey.” She was born April 10, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, the first child of Reverend Evernard and Edwina Divers Williams. At age 3 she became the eldest child as the family welcomed baby brother Maurice. During this tender age, Jeanne displayed an extraordinary talent for piano, beginning a remarkable journey filled with musical and artistic creativity.

Jeanne's final wish was to have her ashes scattered along the San Diego shore. We will honor her in a private ceremony March 28, 2024 from Shelter Island in San Diego, California. Journey on dearest Jeanne. Journey on!
