There are no words for the legacy Ms. Benjamin  has left on our community. Her shining personality and beautiful smile will live on in our hearts. She was absolutely adored at F.W. Gregory. 

To the family, may you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

Rest Well my PE Teacher (Francis W. Gregory, Jr. High 🐊) C/O 81.  Ms. Benjamin was a classy women/ teacher who exemplified to girls what classy was all about and how to coordinate those fitness suits and tennis shoes.  Both she and her bestie Ms. Yancy kept us all straight at Gregory.

Sending Prayers and Condolences to both the Benjamin and Vappie families as I keep you in my prayers 🙏🏾.

My condolences to the Benjamin Family and may the Lord provide peace and comfort to you. I was hurt when I heard the news of Ms. Jean's passing. She is one of my favorite teachers who empowered my learning and love for science. She believed in us. Rest well Ms. Jean. You are loved and will be missed.❤️🙏🏿

I was so sorry to hear about Jean's passing. She was such a caring soul and took such interest in everyone’s life.  She and her family were so proud of Beverly on the high school dance line and her nephew Trey in the band.  Jean carried herself so well, even through her battles with cancer.  She was a huge support for my cancer battle as well and I will always be thankful for her encouragement.  

May Jean rest with the Lord!
