Ms. Jean Ingram Hicks, age 67, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at a local hospital.

Ms. Hicks was born in Rome, Georgia on October 16, 1955, daughter of the late Lillian ingram. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Margie Carter, and by two brothers, William Ingram and Vonnie Ingram. Ms. Hicks was of the Christian faith. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family and was the best Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

Survivors include four children, Haley Ashley (Jeff), Kelly Ray (Boddy), Kimberly Steele, and Clifton Harrell; a brother, Sonny Ingram; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Chase Holtzclaw and the Rev. Michael Goss officiating. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Wednesday at 1:30pm and include Clifton Harrell, R.T. Fergoda, Jeff Black, Dawson Steele, Gunner Steele, and Jake Youngblood. Honorary: Haydan Bonds.
