Background
My name is Krista Black, I am the granddaughter of Ms Hicks. She passed away July 9th 2023 from esophageal cancer. She was the rock of our family and we still grieve her every single day. We were able to give her the burial and funeral she wanted but sadly did not have enough to cover the cost of a headstone. Her life insurance did not cover full funeral cost and was not enough for headstone. We have been saving and have a potion of it, but most of our family cannot help us…so this cost is only on a few of us. If you could donate any at all to help us get one step closer to getting her headstone we would be so grateful. After all she did for everyone we want this for her. Thank you all in advance.
