Jaymar's obituary

Jaymar T. Davis was a devoted husband, proud "Girl Dad," and charismatic entrepreneur, who departed from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and light. The world has lost a great and giving soul, and we are all left with a profound ache in our hearts. We grieve for the years we will not have with Jaymar. But his beautiful life was one of preparation, and his departure is not a final good-bye.
Jaymar was known for his quiet strength, which, like the gemstone onyx, was as solid as it was resilient. Yet, he also possessed a vibrant, luminous spirit that shone brightest in the lives of those he loved. That warmth was perfectly captured in his infectious, big laugh—a sound that could fill any room and bring a smile to anyone's face.
He was a man of great intellect and perceptive insight, qualities that he applied both in his career and in his personal life. Jaymar was a proud graduate of Prairie View A& M University’s College of Engineering and member of Epsilon Gamma Iota, Incorporated Engineering Fraternity. The highlight of his service to his beloved organization was being a National Director and being instrumental in the founding of Beta Chapter at Texas Southern University, Gamma Chapter at Paul Quinn College, Delta Chapter at Tennessee State University and at Florida A&M University. His professional path demonstrated his engineering prowess where he served his previous role as Senior Director of Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program Implementation at CLEAResult Consulting. Jaymar led the development and execution of large-scale initiatives aimed at optimizing energy consumption across various industries. His expertise in energy engineering has been instrumental in designing and implementing innovative solutions for energy conservation and management.

Jaymar's passion for addressing environmental and social issues led him to found CAMI Energy, a company dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable energy solutions. With a focus on urban food deserts, agriculture, energy-efficient homes, transportation, and energy resiliency, Jaymar continues to make a significant impact on the industry.
However, Jaymar's greatest pride lay in his role as a husband and father. He took personal ownership of his daughters' and their teammates' victories, celebrating their wins as his own. His dedication as a "girl Dad" and coach was the defining accomplishment of his life, showing his unwavering support and genuine investment in the next generation.
His enduring love story began on February 14, 2003, when he convinced Brandee Rogers to say "yes." This momentous occasion was a running joke and a point of pride, marking the start of a beautiful partnership and the foundation of his cherished family. His love was a steady anchor, providing unwavering support and affection.
Jaymar was preceded in death by loved ones who have gone before him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brandee; his adoring daughters- Bralynn and Addyson; his father and mother Steve and Linda, his sisters Leticia and Ashton and his nieces Mikayla and Aleena. In addition to a wide circle of brothers and sisters of Epsilon Gamma Iota, Inc, family, friends, and colleagues who will forever remember his loving and devoted spirit.

A celebration of Jaymar's life will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Canopy by Hilton Baltimore Harbor Point located 1215 Willis Street, Baltimore, MD.  The hotel is also home to Cindy Lou's Fish House one of Brandee and Jaymar's favorite places to dine with panoramic views of the Inner Harbor. The hotel will be providing a courtesy block for guests who would like to stay there.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the GO BE GREAT ADDYSON, a memorial fund set up for his youngest daughter Addyson that will be used for all things SENIOR YEAR. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him, and his legacy of passion, joy, and devotion will continue to inspire.
