This was the vacation I split…
This was the vacation I split my swimsuit almost in half in front of my grandma while bending over to help with the pool cover. After Jay finally stopped laughing, he graciously gave me his swedish flag swimsuit. I still have it. That was a good vacation.

The bachelor party that almos…
The bachelor party that almost didn't happen. I bought plane tickets for us to go to a hockey game in Denver, but I bought them going the wrong way. Instead we had whirlwind evening in Denver, complete with margaritas and tacos, followed by a vodka flight at a Russian bar, a hockey game, a late night at the hotel bar, and a very early flight back home.

Jay was and will always be one of my favorite people, one of the most caring and love guys ever. I will  miss my bonus dad. Jay use to pick me up from school for lunch and sneak to arbys.. and say don’t tell Rachel. 😂

I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t  for Rachel and jay. I’m beyond blessed to have them two in my life.

I’m so sad to hear that Jay is gone. He helped me be a better person and he was so authentic. Truly a big loss to all of us and his friends and family.

2019 Family Vacation — with Rachel & Jay ❤️

We spent many yearly family vacations together since 2013 if I remember right.  We are family with Rachel and Jay, not by blood  by choice.    Justin was 12 yrs old and so happy to be able to hang out with Erik and Jay.  They took him shopping and all 3 bought matching Hawaiian shirts.   He still has his.    My kids and I were so looking forward to making more memories this year at Bear Lake.  He will be missed beyond measure.  We love you!
One of the things I loved about Jay was his generous spirit, fun-loving personality and his ability to leave you wanting more time with him!  I’m so sad I won’t get that time.
I loved going to his house and being around his Dad and Mom.  Jay's Dad had the same great sense of humor as he did.    Jay (tried) to teach me tennis.  We both graduated young (17) and both turned 18 in June. I am sad he passed away from us at just 58. Jay always made my Mom laugh when he came over. So much fun when Glenn Iveson, Jay and I were together! Those two took me up north for a ski/snowmobile trip a year after graduation in a nice lodge and ski resort. We got kicked out of the ski area "for being a hazard to other skier's." What a bright spot in my life Jay will always be❣️
