Jason Lowry passed away unexpectedly on April 7th, 2022 at the age of 50. He is survived by his four kids (Eliana, Miriam, Evan, Ephraim), three brothers, and both parents. He was a Gilbert High School and ISU alumni, and spent his career in manufacturing. His passion for music was something he passed on to all of the kids, with a love for U2 leading him to share many concerts across the country with his family. His visitation will be held at the Fairview Lodge in Story City, IA on Friday, June 24th from 5-8 PM with plans for his ashes to be spread at Joshua Tree National Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for sympathies to be instead donated to help fund the expenses associated with this untimely passing.

Psalms 40: I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.
