I first met Jackie on the phone before her 2 feet were planted here on Kaua’i. I rented her very first apartment on the island to her and she was very excited about the opportunity to work at Seasport Divers. Of course her father was concerned about where she was going to live and I reassured him it was very close to the shop. When I finally met Jackie for the walk-through of her new place, you could tell right away that she was a bright star. She had just graduated and was still trying to find her path and believed it to be here on the island. When she started working at Seasport Divers both my husband Don and Zach Simao took her under their wing and watched over her. Jackie’s personality, smile and whit are infectious and her soul very gentle. She will be missed but she’s going to be one of the brightest stars up in the sky. Till we meet again……all our love……

My sincere condolences to Jackie’s friends and family. We met when she worked at the UT Club is Austin, TX. I’ll always remember her as a kind, big hearted, free spirited person. Rest In Peace Jackie! I’ll be praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
