The community of Seguin, Texas, is mourning the passing of Janine Elise Moltz, a 53-year-old local arts volunteer and longtime resident whose sudden death was confirmed Tuesday morning by the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office. Officials stated that emergency responders were dispatched to her home shortly before 6:20 a.m., where Moltz was found unresponsive. Despite rapid medical intervention, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
