My sweet Aunt Jan,

I love you so much, and you are so deeply missed. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. I miss our phone conversations, your laughter, and especially your warm, comforting hugs.

I can still picture your beautiful smile and hear you telling your fun, crazy stories that always made me laugh. You had a way of making everyone feel loved and special.

I cherish all the memories we shared—from when I was a little girl to becoming an adult. Every moment spent with you, every conversation, every laugh is something I hold close to my heart. You were truly one of a kind, a precious treasure in my life.

Your love, your kindness, and your spirit will stay with me forever.

I love you always and forever.

Mom, I can't believe that it's been 2 years since you left us.  I am so thankful for all the good memories that remain from when I was a girl and when I grew up and you became my best friend.  Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.

My grandmother, she was timeless, and I always felt she'd live forever, and that I'd have the time and the chance to make it back to see her, that didn't happen, but as truly heart broken as I am, I heard that she was thinking about me in the end, which makes me cherish her even more.
She will be loved and remembered.

She was a wonderful woman that will be greatly missed. No one is ever gone when we hold them close to our hearts.

My mom was my anchor and my best friend. I will miss our conversations, her big hugs that made anything better, her friendship, and her love of life. I love you more than you know, momma. I miss you so very much and I hope that we will see each other again one day. What a wonderful day that would be.

1995, Somewhere fishing.
My mom, my husband, and my son Kenny went fishing. We lost something off the boat and my husband asked my son Kenny to get it out of the water. I knew that there were stingrays in the water so I didn't want him to do it. He finally went into the water as fast as he could and jumped back in just as quickly. I have never seen him move that fast before or since that day.

My mom lived with me and my husband off and on for several years. In 1990 she didn't have much money to contribute, but she did everything she could to help me out around the apartment. She helped me clean every day and helped me relax by filling the bathtub so I could take a nice hot bath after a hard days work. She also made my coffee for me in the morning. I don't know how many times I called my mom in tears because of a fight with my husband. She always made me feel welcome and told me that I could always come home. I feel so lost without her in my life and unsure of how to go on. I love you mom and will never forget you and all the wonderful memories of our times together.
