I was so sorry to hear about Janice's passing. She was an incredible music educator in the Los Angeles Unified School District and beyond. Her commitment to the students at Reed MS was incredible in every sense of the word.  Gods Blessings to her family.

I am so grateful that Janice was able to be on the risers for one more contest this spring.  It was my privilege to stand with her right next to me the last few years.  She brought joy with her always and showed such incredible bravery during her battle with this awful disease.
