Jan lived her life like a  blazing & vibrant shooting star! I loved how much she loved and adored her family, and how her kindness, sense of humour and contagious laughter touched all who knew her! I am so sorry that she’s gone, and I’m so grateful for my memories of her! XO

I was so sorry to hear about Janet's passing. She was such a Vibrant and  fun loving person. Her laugh and smile were contagious .She had that "Let's raise some Hell"twinkle in her eyes which I will always remember.Always so inclusive.I will miss herShe will be missed

Jan’s smile and energy will stay with me always. Forever saying yes to things and giving people opportunities to be their best selves, creating communities and making things beautiful. Always sharing how proud she was of her beautiful daughters, and grand children. The open home she and Duke created full of fun and solace. 

So blessed to have known her. xo

Jan was a warrior! I will not remember her on the couch; instead I will find joy in how she forged ahead through adversity, joy in all the beauty she brought to each of our lives, and joy in all the love. Thinking of you all as you grieve her loss and hold tight to each other.
