That laugh! She was so full of life that it's impossible to imagine that she's gone. She accompanied our choir at the Presbyterian Church of Laurelhurst, as did her mother, Donna, and they were both such a joyful pair. Her sister Julie also joined us sometimes. I have to admit that several of us old guys were smitten with Janet, and we once talked her into lunch at the old Carnival Restaurant (later the Carousel) at the foot of Pill Hill. We had a great time. Jack and Larry, I miss you guys, too. RIP.

Janet was always there for me…
2023, Pacific University
Janet was always there for me, both at the piano and away from it. This is a bittersweet memory for me - both of us hanging onto each other. For both of us, our final day of playing for voice juries at Pacific. End of an era.

I’m going to remember Janet for her laugh, her great sense of humor and her immense talent. Special appreciation to Janet for flying to Ithaca, NY to play a treble violin recital with me.  Sending love and condolences to Julie, Adam and Janet’s family.
