Janet will always hold a warm place on our hearts. She was our daughters' babysitter, and how they loved her when she came to visit. She was truly beautiful inside and out.

We hold you in the the Light 🕯️ as you grieve and celebrate her life.

Janet was one of the first people to make me feel welcome in Portland when I moved here straight off the Phantom of the Opera tour. She performed with the cast and musicians of the tour on our AIDS benefit here -- typical generosity! -- and her enthusiasm for my stand-up comedy routine was a delight to me. (I'm not sure there's anyone else in town who ever saw me do it!) For years, it was a memory we shared with pleasure when we saw each other.  Her generosity with her welcoming warmth and amazing sense of humor was epic. I hadn't seen her often over the last few years, but she was one of those people who I always felt connected with and it was always so fun to pick up where we left off. It's unreal to think that won't happen again.
