Two-mama will always be so special to us and our boys. She welcomed our family, tried to teach me to make corn bread (it’s never the same) and faithfully rooted the boys on in the baseball careers. We are so blessed to have known her.  Our condolences.
Mama Jane was there for me during the hardest time of my life. She took care of me when I was at GSU for two full semesters and I treasure that time so much. Eating her delicious food, hearing her watching Braves games, and just her being silly and making me laugh when I really wanted to cry on the inside. She was truly one of the most generous and caring women I've had the privilege to know.
We got to stay over with Paula and her parents once. We played a trivia board game and Ms. Rawlins was on my team. She kept blowing the other side out of the water with random facts and know-how. And the next day she made peach cobbler that my husband still talks about. She made such an impression. And I remember how she came to take care of Paula in NC when she was healing. So much love.

Jane was someone who knew how to listen to people. Especially young people. In a world where I felt too insecure to speak my truth, she asked questions and consistently elevated my answers until she made me feel heard and seen. Thank you!
Much love to your family but especially to your sister. So many memories surround just hearing your names. Your family home, when we were growing up, was always a place of a love and togetherness.
