Jane Marshall Rawlins of Dacula, GA, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the age of 79. She was laid to rest at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Snellville, GA, on Wednesday, May 17. For much of her adult life, Jane was a homemaker, but, after moving to Charlotte, NC, in 1990, she began regularly volunteering at the Harrisburg Elementary School library, where she would eventually work full-time until 2003.
