James “Son” Henderson was born August 15, 1950 to Thomas Henderson and Augustina Lavinier in Grand Bay, Dominica. He was the eldest child of his mother’s children and became the man of the house almost immediately. James was a loving son and was undeniably the light of his mother’s eyes.
