James Shintin Kong, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024 in the Bay Area, California. James was born in Hainan, China and grew up in Malaysia where he met and married Helen in 1975. Together, they raised three children, Chris, Wendy, and Nick, before immigrating to Brooklyn, New York in 1989.
James believed in the power of education and hard work to pave the way for success. Using …
