We were heartbroken when we heard the news of James's passing. James 表哥was a second cousin from a complex family tree. He was faithful, witty, smart, and funny. He loved his family and devoted his life to them. He also loved life. His optimism and sense of humor was contagious,  he always made us laugh. He brought much joy and laughter in our lives and we will always remember him fondly in our hearts. Someday, we hope to meet again in the heavenly banquet where will prepare a feast and share his favorite dishes with us again. 

James and his entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant the entire Kong family blessings, protections and eternal rest for James. 

What I admire most about James was his unwavering love and dedication to family. A wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and friend. Very warm and gregarious personality, and certainly a discerning palette. My family was fortunate to befriend James and Helen through Sam Van, and we enjoyed his company and zest for life, and always so proud and caring for his children and grandchildren. 

Rest well James in the comfort of the Lord, and know that your family and friends will carry you in their hearts forever. You will be deeply missed.
