James had this sigh that he always did when one of us said something dumb in CHUM, and considering the boys in our class, it was often. It makes me smile remembering that sound.

I haven't talked to him much and I wasn't close with him, but the few times I did have a conversation with him, I could just tell how genuine and sweet he was. He always had others' best interests in mind and was the kindest person. James will never be forgotten and we all miss you so much. Fly high in heaven<3

At first, when I met James he seemed very quiet. But when I got to know him, I realized how sarcastic and kind his personality was. Filming for Class Council or spirit video, we would always mess up our lines and have to redo the same scene a thousand times. But James would just chuckle and lift up his camera for another take. He was patient and forgiving. We miss you, and we hope you rest easy James.
