James's obituary
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of James Dinh, a man of deep compassion and warmth, who passed away on November 15, 2024. Born on February 2, 1978, James devoted his life to being a caring partner and a wonderful friend.
In 2017, James moved to Renton, WA, and found love, building a home with his partner and creating an atmosphere filled with kindness and understanding. A lover of adventure, he found joy in many adventures. He took his partner on many journeys, from hiking through Mt. Rainier, swimming in Lake Chelan, going to Disneyland, and playing in the snow in Leavenworth.
James enjoyed every moment life had to offer, from the taste of Steak, Korean BBQ, and Pho.
James was a devoted Buddhist and took his faith seriously, he always showed others love and compassion.
But he also was a lot of fun. He loved video games and scary movies. His love for horror movies was apparent in his favorite choices – Halloween, Scream, Friday the 13th. He also found amusement in sharing funny memes with his friends and loved watching his favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks, play.
James was a passionate gamer, enjoying titles like Diablo and Final Fantasy. He loved Christmas, and relished the festive beauty of the Christmas Lights at Warm Beach. His favorite ways to unwind included playing video games, cuddling with his partner, playing Pokemon Go, and vacationing at his beloved spots—Leavenworth, Cle Elum Lake, and Lake Chelan.
In his local community, he cherished spending time at Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Gen Korean BBQ, Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, and Avanti Pizza & Pasta.
A true Buddhist, James cared deeply about his partner, his friends, and lived a life of mindfulness and empathy.
Black, his favorite color, was reflective of the depth and richness of his personality. He was a loving partner, and an individual who referred to himself as "the dream maker". He lived up to this moniker by enriching the lives of the people around him, teaching them the true meaning of love, and how to be kind, gentle, always considering others.
James's legacy of compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his laughter will forever echo in their memories. In lieu of flowers, donations are being raised for the "Brain Aneurysm Foundation" at https://everloved.com/life-of….
As we mourn the loss of James Dinh, we also celebrate the life of a man who was, above all else, profoundly devoted to those he loved. His passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
