My deepest condolences to Jim and Paula's family. I loved them both so much. I cannot even begin to describe how much he influenced and changed my entire life! From five summers in Europe to years working with him at Nicholls to having his guidance and advice throughout my teaching career, he was a dedicated mentor, a true inspiration, and an absolute joy to be around. The memories I have with him are truly some of the best times of my life, and I will cherish them always. He was family, and he will be missed. Rest in peace, Jim Barnidge, you gave us everything you had!
