James L. "Jim" Barnidge, a devoted husband, father, esteemed educator, and passionate traveler, passed away on February 8, 2025, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, at the age of 85.
Jim dedicated 54 years to education as a history professor at Nicholls State University, where he inspired generations of students with his dynamic storytelling and deep knowledge.
